In honor of the second movie from the Twilight series – New Moon – hitting the screens this week, I’ve got a little vampiric Feel Good Friday treat for you, at least if you like your vamps to be of the old-school variety.
My sincere apologies to all you fans of Twilight.
I haven’t seen New Moon and certainly don’t intend to pay good (or bad, for that matter) money to do so. Especially not after seeing Twilight. To give you an idea of my take on the series, Newscoma and I put together a review of the first flick entitled “Twilight – Best Comedy Ever.”
And while we’re on the subject, you need to see the parody Saturday Night Live did with Taylor Swift and the Franks called “Firelight” if you haven’t already. And if you have seen it, enjoy it again. Go ahead. Start the video.

It’s Feel Good Friday and time for some retro Liar, Liar and I’m not talking about the movie Liar Liar with Jim Carrey.
It’s the Castaways and in this clip from the movie “It’s a Bikini World” you get a groovy go-go dancer doing the swim in a red bikini with some swinging fringe. Notice the vampiric pallor of her pasty white skin. Good stuff. Also in the opening moments before the song starts, the bearded dude sitting down is Sid Haig who starred decades later in Rob Zombie’s “House of 1,000 Corpses” as Captain Spaulding. Also seated is Tommy Kirk, who was still trying to put food on the table after all those Disney teen movies including “Son of Flubber” dried up.
Happy Friday everyone.

I know, I know.
It’s been a long time since I’ve paid much or any attention to these digs, but I’m back.
Like the great Mark Twain said, “Rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated.”
Between basketball season and my recovery from basketball season, the arrival of 10 puppies, a trip to the reunion of the original Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders, enduring a viewing of “Twilight” and just taking a general mental break, I vow to bring you links to more stupid crap on the Internet on a consistent and regular basis.
That’s my promise to you – all 4 of you loyal readers out there.
More goofy junk from the www via the Squirrel Queen.
Thanks for stopping by and please come back again.
