Asps on a 747

What would movie chitchat for 2006 be without mentioning Mother-fracking Snakes on a Plane? Internet sensation and box office dud

Ahh, can you say Ishtar?

Shadow dancers again doing some cool stuff

  1. If you want an easy way to say a movie is bad, don’t drag the name “Isthar” into the discussion.

    Ishtar is a great movie, and more and more people are catching on to that fact… your comment demonstrates that you are one of those people who isn’t keeping up with the times… too bad for you, you’re missing out on the fun, and nothing is sadder than a hipster past pull date.

    With the documentary film on the way, and perhaps a DVD release in the US (lucky Europeans have had one for years) … this is going to be a great year for Ishtar!

  2. Matt, Matt, Matt
    I’m so sorry you’re looking at the world through Ishtar-colored glasses.
    Dude, I’ve seen the movie. I saw it in the damn theater when it came out. I hated it.
    Don’t get me wrong. I love a good bad movie. I’ve seen most of them more than once. That’s about the only reason to watch the SciFi Channel.
    It’s a good thing Dustin Hoffman/Warren Beatty had good resumes before the disaster in the desert or the career damage could have been terminal.
    You just sit outside Suncoast waiting for the DVD release and I’ll go on with my life.

  3. I’ve never seen anyone get so riled up over Ishtar, Queenie.
    You gots mad skillz when your pissing an Ishtar fan off.
    What’s next, Clay Aiken? Kittens?

  4. Be careful… the Claymates will be here before you know it…

  5. Claymation = yes
    Claymates = no
