Robin romance aka spring fever

spring fevver

I guess I’m itching for spring to get here. Despite the frigid temperatures of late, I’m spotting robins bob bob bobbin along left and right. I’m taking their predominance as a sign of spring and warmer things to come.

I’ve been trying to get a pic of one for my Project 365 group, but I haven’t had any luck. My timing has been poor. If I’ve got a camera, no birds in sight. If the robin red breast is making an appearance, the camera is out of reach.

Photo or not, the robins are lifting my spirits.

I’m the same way with squirrels and my shotgun.

    (Present company excluded, of course…)

  3. Now I’ve seen you take a shot at a squirrel with a bb gun up at the cabin.
Do you really need to break out the heavy armature.

  4. By the way, that freakin’ rat Puxatawney Phil can kiss my frigid butt. It sure doesn’t feel like spring!
