I love the fact that Penelope Cruz thanks Pedro Almodevar for helping jump start her career when she accepts an Oscar in 2009.
She is genuine. I loved the Supporting Actress winners who helped announce this year’s winner from Tilda Swinton to Whoopie Goldberg to Goldie Hawn.

I saw Penelope Cruz in Cool Springs once shopping at the Galleria. She seemed pretty friendly and signed autographs for a few people.
