Flying Penguins and Flying Pigs

“When pigs fly” is one of those phrases folks throw around to scoff at an idea.

The same thing could be said substituting the earthbound penguins for the porcine oinker.

That is until the BBC got an itch to put together a video of flying penguins.

This makes two penguin posts in two weeks if you count my post last week referring to the Tennessee Aquarium’s 24-hour live online camera trained on their penguins.

It’s not quite Snake Week worthy, but it is a pattern here at the home of the Squirrel Queen.

Settle in and enjoy your nature in both its natural and unnatural forms.
